The plug-ins running on DSPs (special processors for sound editing on the soundcard) guarantee superb sound quality. In short, the studio is suitable for both audio and midi or a combination of both. For audio recording you have 24 tracks simultaneously at your disposal. During the mixing stage the number of tracks is basically unlimited.
